Biography
Steve Lorenz is synonymous of quality, vanguard, experimentation. He is steadily gaining prestige for the whole world public, thanks to a steady stream of high quality productions, establishing collaborations with international artists. The thematic direction of Steve is the result of a research and elaboration. Steve has developed an industrial sound in constant evolution, in which techno, detroit, minimal, dub, acid, and neotrance sonority are fused. Since 2008 Steve has gathered feedback and chart from the most important artists of the world: Joseph Capriati, Rino Cerrone, Laurent Garnier, Ellen Allien, Markantonio, Gary Back, Damon Wild, Dj Hell, Remute, Cio D’Or, Joachim Spieth, Alex Kork,
Axel Bartsch, Mathias Schaffauser, Orlando Voorn, Magda, Bodzin, Richie Hawtin, Krenzlin, Veerus, Ziel 100, Angel Alanis, Deetron, Ben sims and many more. The year 2010 closes for Steve with the greatest work of ever, the vinyl Abstraction EP on Synewave, the historical label of New York founded by Damon Wild, in 1994. Among the important collaborations in recent years include several works for Bjoern Scherumann, and his label Fassade, some works for the Berlin Moog Conspirancy's label Elektrotribe, works for Angel Alanis, and his labels like Slap jax and klientele, The Psycho EP on Open Concept Recordings, Uranium and Black Universe on Snork Enterprises, Ultracurve on Loose recors.
Steve has done works also on other labels like Tracer, KDW, Progrezo, Baroque, Prosthetic Pressings, Phobiq. In 2011 Steve has remixed the famous techno Detroit hit of Damon Wild “Avion”. Another two important works for Steve in 2011 was the vinyl Overclock on Absolutive records with two prestogious remix from Kane Roth and Damon wild and the vinyl scorpion on Flicker rhythm music. In 2012 he have started his own label “Tarvisium Electronique” collaborating with Orlando Voorn, Legowelt, Roland M. Dill, Applescal, Stanny Franssen, Syntax Error, Krenzlin. In 2014 he have planned new exclusive vinyls on Nightvision, 9volt, Flicker rhythm music and obviously on his label Tarvisium Electronique.
